Sylvie became certified as a yoga teacher in 1988, through the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center.
In 1989, she graduated from the Advanced Teacher Training course. She has taught numerous yoga and meditation classes, and assisted in teaching many teacher training courses.

Sylvie was certified as a Shiatsu massage practitioner at the Yuki Rioux School in 1991.

In 2005, Sylvie obtained her Swedish massage certificate at the Guijek School in Montreal. In that same year, Sylvie also began a two year Reiki training at the Roland Berard School in Montreal. She is now a certified Reiki Master and teacher. She leads Reiki share periodically for practitioners.

During this same period, Sylvie took the Fundamentals of Brennan Healing Science workshop with Alain Grouette.

Sylvie also took part of the Hakomi training which is a body mind approach technique.

Sylvie has also taken the course Awakening the light body which is a meditation process.

In the past , Sylvie has participated in several 10 days Vipassana Meditation retreats. She also took part in sweat lodges and other shamanic ceremonies.

Sylvie offers individual Reiki and Massage Therapy session at her Bromont office.
